College Republican Hypocrisy Unmasked

Max Blumenthal is a young blogger who likes to go to conventions and events full of people he disagrees with politically/socially - at least that's my impression - to engage them in dialogue, which usually ends up in 'them' (whoever the 'them' of the day are) proving his point.

Here's an example of what I mean. In Generation Chickenhawk: the Unauthorized College Republican Convention Tour Max heads to a College Republican National Convention, where he talks to students about their opinion of the Iraq war, and then proceeds to ask them why they are not participating in this "historical cause" as they describe it. I like Max's style, because when he's questioning someone, he comes across as completely genuine in offering the person a chance to defend their stance and behavior (whether he is or isn't genuine, I couldn't say).

These little excursions often end up with Max getting thrown out of these supposed 'public' events, even though he is not rowdy or disruptive in any way, which is also captured and telling in itself.

The other one of his posts I've run into is Rapture Ready: The Unauthorized Christians United for Israel Tour, which at points is kinda creepy.

Enjoy!
