From Lance Bass to Rachel Corrie

Follow my trail of thought here:

a) I am currently doing an "I told you so" dance for everyone that I told about that male friend of a friend that had slept with N'Sync's Lance Bass and who wouldn't believe me. I TOLD YOU SO!

b) From one queer to a conference full of them. Here's a short article about a gay rights conference held in Beirut a few weeks ago. Believe me, the pictures are irrelevant.

c) From tacitly supported queer Arabs to a crying Arab pop sensation. Nancy Ajram cries for Lebanon as she releases her newest single, a patriotic song that is being played across the country.

d) And finally from one celebrated artist we go to the censorhip in the Arts in New York, as a play about murdered ISM activist Rachel Corrie is banned. For those that don't know about what happened to Rachel Corrie, I would suggest a quick google. You will find tons that you never saw on TV or in any newspapers in any significant manner.

anti-war, zionism, queer stuff, lebanon, conferences, hate crime
