Femina Potens, 2199 Market Street (at Sanchez Street), San Francisco
Canes can be a gentle sensory toy (really), a vicious form of punishment or just plain fun! Comes watch demos on various bodies and with various styles. Learn the basics in making, buying and using canes and best of all try out caning. A limited number of canes will be provided for use but if you have one please bring it. PARTICIPATION BY ALL IS ENCOURAGED.
Workshop will be facilitated by theo, an ftm and former Pro-domme and fan of the canes for the past 15 years who will lead the workshop in techniques and creation of canes before opening it up for discussion and practice.
Screwup is for all trans spectrum people, genderqueers, our friends and allies.
$0-5 donation will be accepted to cover the cost of renting the space, supplies and any flyers made. NO ONE is every turned about for not donating

Please contact screwup@screwup.info if you'd like us to arrange for an ASL interpreter, to get involved, make suggestions or with any other requests. Femina Potens is wheelchair accessible but the bathroom is not.

The MUNI METRO LINES J,K,L,M,N, the F MUNI STREETCAR LINE, or MUNI BUS LINES 6, 7, 9, 10, 14, 21, 26, 47, 49, 66 and 71 all run within a few blocks of Femina Potens - many run within 1 block. Also, take BART (exit at SF Civic Center), then transfer to Muni metro (exit at Church Street) or F Muni streetcar line (exit at Church Street).
Please use public transportation - parking near Femina Potens is not easy.
