(no subject)
I'm doing the same, as usual, just working and spending a lot of time with my kids.
Oh man, I went to Pensacola Beach last week, and I put on so much sunscreen, but forgot about my back, and it's so burnt. I took my sisters along, somehow they can swim a lot better than I can but little Anne (she's 8) and right when she's out of the water, I made her hide under the umbrella, cause parents will kill me if their daughters turn black. hehehe, my parents are so racist, even against their own children, they don't like their girls to look dark (we look mexican they say).
Next week (not memorial holiday week), anyone want to join me at the beach? (of course only Pensacoa folks invited) Sorry, I haven't called anyone since I've been home, but anytime, anyone want to hang out-- let me know. Yeah I work, but I don't live at work. I just like seeing the beach and just sitting down to relax. Well, the water is actually not very clean these days, it's yucky! But definitely, sometime next week, let's go to the beach and fly kites.
AND...the wedding! Jenn's Wedding!!! I took my sister Rose with me, since I didn't want to go alone. But I saw Catherine, Ben, James, Jessica, met Andrew, Laura and her family...and of course many other faces...seems like whenever I see a group of friends in Pensacola, they're IB or Brown Barge folks, we're just so attached I guess. I thought it was a very nice and simple wedding. I like American weddings better, because it's not about the money, the bride and groom doesn't go table to table waiting for an envelope...and after the wedding they don't wait to count.those bills, but instead, they invite friends and family because they want people to be happy for them. I just admire the un-greediness and un-selfish attitude. Anyhow, I'll be looking forward to many more weddings to come. Kinda scary to realize it but we're getting older and we're not kids anymore...we'll get married someday (sooner or later). Do invite me when the time comes, wherever and whenever, I'll be there!
