(no subject)
Alrighty, I’m gone and out of here. I’m all packed, ready to go home!!! Nah, I’m still in Orlando…I have moved out of my apartment! I ended my lease early-- since I was planning to go home for the summer and I’d rather save that $1,500 for spending (or for summer school). I should be in Orlando till May 5th, living at my brother’s house. I would like to see a lot of people before everyone split, but I know, schedule conflicts…everyone rushing to pack, and move out, and take finals.
For once, we’ll be going home as a family: me, Binh, Phu, Nhan, and my sister. The five of us…five people is bigger than some families. How come we’re a big family wherever we go?
This may be my last update till…a very long time. Summer plans: I’ll be working at Smokey’s Restaurant on hwy 29, if anyone would like to come eat-I will be the one taking your money, not serving you. Hehehe…Also, I’m going to take classes at UWF-if you’re going to be there, hopefully I will see you. UCF campus is always so busy and noisy, but UWF campus is nice and calm. It’ll be different. And…back to Pensacola…lots of driving ahead. Many…many more errands to run for my parents. Wow, I’ve almost been driving for a year now and so far, so good, accident free, and no speeding tickets. I’ve only had two minor incidents when people backed up into the van out of the gas station- I let it go since it was during hurricane rush days. Surprisingly, I made it alive in Orlando! Now, I need to learn how to drive a stick shift! Can’t get a new car till I can drive a manual! Ahhhh!!! (I’m the only one in my family who never drove a stick).
As promised every year, every holiday, and every break…“call me and we’ll go do something!” hehehe…same old lie. I apologize in advance; it’s not something I have control over when I’m home…I just really need to be there for my kids. Leaving them for school has been bad enough. But I will try very hard to come see you, go out for some food, go watch a movie, or go to the beach…but don’t get upset if I get too busy.
