I'm not usually much of a one for smut-fic, as you call it, but these stories have all been rather charming and filled with lovely character moments and fun.

I'm thoroughly enjoying them.

Although for any kinda of meaningful relationship, I feel Sam needs and is better paired with Janet, these romps are just too much fun.

I think it's Vala - she can exacerbate Sam to no end.

Oh, she most definitely was. That is, until TPTB decided to turn her into a Madonna for the Ori Christ child. The day the Stargate writers graduate from the middle school of sexually repressed boys with archaic attitudes towards women! will be the best day in the Stargate universe.

The only reason I've been watching the show occasionally is because of the Sam/Janet fanfic I kept coming across.

Well, that and Amanda Tapping ;). And now Claudia Black :D.

For me, they're like the two odd puzzle pieces that *shouldn't* fit together but totally do. Plus, Vala tormenting Sam just never gets old!
