Tuesday TV Time
I still have a giant Grey's post to do but I wanted to talk about today's tv stuff since all I watched was NCIS.
Oh, I do have to mention ABC moving Grey's to Thursday's at 9pm. Like, WTF? Grey's was soo perfect on Sunday's at 10 because it was the perfect show to both end and begin the week. And now it's moving against CSI and I'm like, well, crap, bye Sofia 'cuz as much as I love your hot as a hot thing, swaggering self, the hotness of Sofia (okay, and Sara) can't beat the multiple hotness of Grey's...plus Bailey!!
NCIS
Jesus, tonight's episode was like the writer's sitting in a room and going 'how can we get trancer to stop watching our show?'. Because DiNozzo in charge of NCIS? Is a pretty good place to start.
Then we get Gibbs and his man-pain taking center stage over a terrorist about to blow up shit! Like, does anyone really believe Gibbs is going to stay away from NCIS? And I'd like to say I liked Gibbs better when he was in a coma, but he had goddamed emo-pain taking centerstage then too! Here I am about to rail on about the plot issues with Grey's, then, here comes NCIS with a season finale so across the board awful as to make me think 'you know, Grey's really wasn't that bad in comparison'. Plus, Grey's only has one McDouchery, NCIS has two!!
This show has serious, serious issues with women. Which causes me to have serious, serious issues with the show. It's like some bad 80's action movie in serialized form without the bad clothes and rampant homoeroticism expecting a pat on the back because it has a chick who likes to torture people.
Oh, and was Ziva shooting her brother something new or is this a leftover plot thread from earlier in the season? I know about what's his face killing Kate. I just had no idea he was Ziva's brother. Does this mean when Ziva gets almost blown up, we'll have a flashbacks galore ep focusing on her secret pain as the rest of the gang soldiers on without her? Yeah, I didn't think so either.
Also, Lauren Holly's been looking pretty hot these past couple episodes now that a) she's allowed her eyebrows to grow out some and b) she's tamed the red fright wig formally known as her hair.
Hopefully, the Fall Season will bring something good to Tuesday's at 8 so I can finally quit this damn show!
Finally, and completely from left field, does anyone know how to get out of the rich text editor on LJ. I used it like once and now every time I try to post it automatically takes me into it. I tried reading the FAQ. But the answer made *no* fucking sense whatsoever. Either that, or I'm just stupid. And right now, it could go either way.
