Stupid work, all day making me write and work and not giving me enough time to respond to this properly! I saw it last night, after watching the Blake/Agassi match (damned Agassi). As my eyes were literally closing, I clicked on my flist one last time, and there this was!

I woke right up, devoured it and then shamelessly/shamefully went to sleep without replying. But I had happy dreams :) So thanks for that, too.

Anyway, enough about me. I'd much rather talk about Alex and Elliot in bed. They are so sexy together! Love the image of Elliot standing watch. And Alex, so open and sexy, talking to him, bantering.

So many sexy parts. (Hey, that sort of sums up the HToL!) I loved this one:

OMG! I knooww!! Stupid Agassi. And stupid, makes me wanna have a million of his babies Blake.

It might be an arrangement, but it's not without emotion.

The only reason they call it an arrangement is 'cuz they don't wanna admit how much they care for each other. I meant to expand on that point but couldn't find a way without making overtly angsty, ie, Elliot doubting himself and the choices he's made in life, Alex and her conflicts over committing adultery. So, I just stick to 'teh smut', lol.

And thank you for your kind and generous words. There'll probably be more A/E in the future since I've become bored with Benson. I envy all those people who stopped watching after Season 5. If only I'd done the same.

Woot! I'm so excited to see the Rare Pairing in the hands of another capable author. UV ably covered my favorite parts, but I got to say that you really nailed the mood of Alex and Elliot being reluctant to express their feelings for one another without having to elaborate. The mutual respect, the longing, the career angst: it all feels so right here. And, the sex? Breathless and meaningful all at once. My favorite type of smut.

Heh. I, too, envy anyone who's never seen Season 5 and beyond. It's like being in a relationship gone sour, but I can't quite bring myself to make the break.

Alex/Olivia I get. Elliot/Olivia I get. What I seriously don't get is why A/E are so rare in the SVU fandom. What, with all the UST, professional and not so professional antagonism and personal space invading, they're like the perfect recipe for a ship.

That's like the most perfect SVU analogy. Heh, it's like when people ask 'why do you still watch if you hate it so much?'. And I'm all like but in the beginning it was soo perfect and the sex was hot and I just wanna glimmer of the show I once knew.
