Grrrr. Arghh!! It was so close! Soooo close. But, in the end, there was just something missing tonight. I admit, I am not the most knowledgable person when it comes to basketball, but Sweet Zombie Jesus, did the referee's ever suck tonight. 25 of Houston's 67 points came from free throws. Almost a third of their total points. From FREE THROWS. How many times did the Storm hit the line? Five!!! Gahhhh!! And I made a new icon and everything. Fucking refs.
As an aside, Storm fans raised $18,000 tonight for the Katrina relief aid. Storm fans, gotta love'em!
Anyhoo, in three hours, I'm up and out the door for three days of drunken debauchery in Columbus. Gotta go watch the USMNT whoop up on Mexico for World Cup qualification! Which makes up for a) missing Garbage at Bumbershoot tomorrow and b) missing game three on Saturday.
