Femmeslash Wish List
Okay, I'm bored at work and generally pissed off at my work. So, to pass the time, I came up with a fic wish list. These are fics that I wish a) I had the time to write or b) were on the internets somewhere. Plus, it's a fun way for me to pass the time..and get paid while doing it!
Show: Battlestar Galactica New Flavor; Cain/Roslin, Cain/Starbuck, Starbuck/Roslin
Theme: This is going with my AU story. And it would be a big, huge, novel length AU that boils down to being about "The Battle for Starbuck's Soul"!! Like, what would happen if Cain really did assassinate Adama? Because, imo, while Cain would cannibalize the fleet, I don't think she'd do it all at once, ya know. Like, there'd still be a fleet and there'd still be Roslin as President. With the two, while looking like they're getting along, are secretly trying to usurp the other and there's poor Starbuck caught in the middle. So, there'd be political intrigue, fighting the Cylons and lots and lots of dysfunctional sex with Starbuck!!
Show: Firefly; Zoe/Inara
Theme: Post-Serenity Dark-fic with an embittered Zoe hatching a scheme to seduce Inara for no other reason than to have Mal know what it feels like to lose someone he loves. See, I have issues with Mal, and the ending of Serenity where everyone's all happy and paired off except for the widow who lost her husband. I can just imagine Zoe going to a "dark place" and everyone on Serenity getting caught in the undertow. Except, since this is femmeslash, Zoe finds herself developing real feelings for Inara, and having to decide between her desire for Inara and her desire to destroy Mal.
Show: Buffy/Highlander; Faith/Amanda
Theme: I'm not sure if I want this as a long fic or not. Just an "Amanda takes Faith under her wing" kinda fic. Where there's lots of adventures, and stealing shit, and living the high life, with lots of hot girl-on-girl action. 'Cuz I think the moral ambiguity of Amanda coupled with the moral ambiguity of Faith would be unambiguously *hot*!
Show: Hourglass; Aeysha/Chris
Hourglass? Who in the wha - you say? Well, it's a show that died in "Development Hell". All I know, or care about, is it would have starred Claudia Christian and Alex Tydings as time traveling best friends, strong women of history, sword fights, new age mysticism and kung fu! Preferably a fic revolving around pirates, Bodicea or something. uh, I guess this is my way of getting Christian/Tydings slash without resorting to RPS!

Theme: Remember that episode where they needed more pilots and Jane Seymour lobbied to have *women* actually pilot ships. Well, it's along those lines except it's Sheba who's the teacher. And it involves Sheba and Athena getting stranded on some backwaters planet, or possibly a planet with either no women, or no men, or whatever. Something like that. I'm not picky as long as there's some hot GOGA! I really do have a one-track mind.
Fandom: Wonder Woman; Wonder Woman/Pretty Much Anyone
Theme: Wonder Woman and the Isle of Lesbos. Um, haven't thought much more about it than Wonder Woman and Lesbos. But, really, what more do you need?
