I love this fic. Love the darkness of it. The complex plotting and characterization. And the believable, terrifying villain. With superheroes it's so difficult to create a big bad who's as strong or stronger than the hero without creating a caricature or making them into a device. you totally nailed the big bad in this one...and his motivation.

hmmmm, maybe it's time for another BoP gigantarec.

You know, when I posted this I honestly didn't think anyone would actually, you know, read it. LJ just doesn't seem very hospitable towards long fics. So, even though I know you read practically everything that's out there, I still don't know whether to love you more for liking it or actually reading it!!

Are you kidding? Best way to pass two hours. I somehow missed this when you posted earlier. I just have vague memories of BoP, and I watched it before I became a shallow viewer. But I remember the Hoyay fairly leaped off the screen. Could have done without the super annoying Shemar Moore in it.

Anyway .. love the fic, and especially al the Helena/Barbara angst, and a great line at the end.

It was an awful, awful show but the HoYay, and Dina Meyer, was soo worth it. I still have residual hatred from Shemar Moore stinking up the place.

I loved this story when I first read it on the BoP list, but I enjoyed it even more the second time. Reading it in one sitting really showed the intricacies and cohesiveness of the plot and characterisations.

Isn't there a sequel to this? If so, will you be posting it on here?

Yes, there's like a couple sequels to this one. Hopefully, I'll recover and/or find all my old fics and post them here.

As for completed long fics, I actually prefer posting this way. But, I'm way too damn slow and impatient, lol. Unless, of course, it's a demandafic, where I totally don't have a choice!
