Sunday TV Time
I'm a little behind the bell curve 'cuz I've been working the overnight shift. So, I wound up missing a couple shows I normally watch. Although, missing The L Word wasn't that great of a loss.
Desperate Housewives - Two words - Nun Fight!! Gaby loves her man, even if he doesn't deserve her, and will even take down a nun to do it. Carlos threatening Gabi with an annulment if she didn't want a child like right now, was a punk-ass bitch move. So, Gaby taking down the nun *and* Carlos ruled. The day she realizes Carlos has the hots for Lynette...
Speaking of Lynette - You know, I want to feel sorry for Gay Matt. Lynette getting him fired was pretty shitty. But, here's where he pissed me off. Lynette gave up her career for six years so she could take of/give birth to Matt's spawn. Matt can't even hold out for six fucking months before he's shoehorning his way into Lynette's job, and then throwing her faults in her face to get his way. Lynette doesn't have four kids, she has five, because Gay Matt is one giant baby.
Finally, finally, the Applewhites storyline is gaining momentum, and Dayum!! It's gonna be a battle of the Queen Bees - Bree versus Betty.
There wasn't enough Edie in this ep, and *way* too much fucking Susan.

Grey's AnatomyAlthough I'm certain the Meredith-apologists will be all over this like white on rice. This episode confirms it - Meredith is the worst fucking friend ever!! Quite possibly the worst friend in television history. On the one hand, you have Christina backing Meredith up and giving McDouchery the well-deserved smackdown he's had coming for ages. On the other hand, you have Meredith choosing a dog over George. A dog she bought, imo, not to make Izzy feel better, but to make herself feel better after realizing she'd treated Izzie like shit.
And, God, I'm soo sick of St. Meredith Sue coming up with the miracle diagnosis before anyone else. Am I really supposed to believe Meredith would figure out what was wrong with the patient before Burke? Why yes, I guess I am. I call bullshit!!
The hotdog eating contest was, hands down, the best scene ever on this show. More interns being friends and less Meh/Duh ship please!
There was *way* too little Addison in this ep, but the eyeshags thrown Izzie's way were totally worth it. C'mon Izzie, enough with the 'I'm pissed at you' routine. If you can forgive Asshole Alex, you can certainly forgive Addison. I guarantee the sex will be a thousand times hotter.
And I can't believe TPTB wrote that scene where it's revealed Derek and Addison adopted Meredith's dog. God, could we have just *one* episode that doesn't end on this fucking tiresome ass ship?
