Ooooh, that was so good. I *love* what you did to all of them, the darkness and the madness and how they're so above and beyond everything that nothing applies to them anymore. Wow.
And I'm also totally intrigued by that poor mind-wipe guy. What hold does she have no him, because he really has ultimate power over everyone.
But "First, you ask me to wipe your daughter’s memories. Then, you ask me to fake it. Now, you want me to wipe her again?"? Had she deliberately had him fake the memory wipes, and was just pretending to be surprised when Will told her?

Lol, I think that's why I'm drawn towards this pairing. Helen's immortal and has all the time to do whatever she wants. *And* she has the power and influence to change the rules, so to speak, to fit her needs.
What hold does she have no him, because he really has ultimate power over everyone.
Takeshi, the great-grand father, was male. Kasumi is female. I tried to allude to Helen being 'heavily' involved in the Mori family but, ultimately, Kasumi's an opportunist and Helen has lots and lots of cash. Plus, and I forgot to put this in the story, but Helen figured out how to negate the Mori family powers on herself.
Had she deliberately had him fake the memory wipes, and was just pretending to be surprised when Will told her?
Yes. Basically, Helen was trying to figure out what Will knew in regards to Ashley. So her shock was more at the revelation that Ashley knew who her father was.

Was Ashley's mind-wipe only faked this one time or more than once?

awesomely done - i hope your muse sticks around for more Helen/Ashley fics. & i gotta admit that putting Will in his place was kinda cool. i never a big fan of his -- probably something to do w/ his disappearing hair...piece???

As for Will, I like to think that while he's there as Helen's 'moral compass' Helen still has ultimate authority. Will still has to play by Helen's rules and when he doesn't.. well, Helen just makes sure that he does.
