I just noticed the designation LJ uses when you're on the friend list of a person on your own friend list: "Mutual Friend".  Does anyone else think that to be an asmuing, and at the same time slightly worrying, term?  I mean honestly, most people don't typically think it terms of non-mutual friendships.  Even what that might be the case, I'm willing to bet that the unlucky non-friend is probably under the impression that it's mutual.
