Two Weeks 'til S.F.!
woot woot! My lil' bro is officially coming back to Portland! He will meet me in SF the weekend of the 19th and we will take the train back together on the 22nd.
Speaking of SF, Zeeb, my very bestest bestest friend from Minneapolis who moved a couple of weeks ago to San Diego called last night. We've not seen each other in 6 years, but remain in constant contact. Anyway, she called last night to tell me that she RANDOMLY will also be in SF that weekend so we get to see each other!! It was cute, we both started screaming on the phone like 12 year old girls when we verified that we will both be there at the same time. Along with my other friend from Minneapolis, Joe, who relocated to L.A. a couple of years ago (I have not seen him in 3 years) will also probably be in S.F. that weekend, I'm getting my aloe vera tattoo finished (along with getting the genus name for aloe vera--aloe vulgaris--tattooed under it so people stop asking if its a FUCKING POT PLANT TATTOO) and starting on plans for my backpiece, there are a couple possible dates are in the works, not to mention saying goodbye to Tyler....sheesh. And I purposefuly planned this trip on a "not festival weekend" (i.e. Pride, Folsom) so I could have a little less craziness in S.F.!
Today is the fourth and final day of my fast. Its going great! The hardest time is after 7pm, my stomach starts grumbling but after it gets a good grumble out, it settles down. I wish I could go through Sunday at least, but since I'm going to Eugene tomorrow, I better call it quits. Tonight I will break it with some vegetable broth and then I will put in a short appearance at the gym. I always forget how much energy I have when I'm doing this fast! Since this one is so short, I think I will do it again in late April or early May.
