Fuck Thanksgiving
My opinion on the subject: I take the Bill Maher stance on Thanksgiving. Leave it to our fucked up culture to take the one single nice moment we've ever had with the indians and build a holiday around it. That is like a date rapist saying "lets concentrate on the nice meal we had earlier in the evening." Like most of our holidays, it is complete bullshit that twists reality and serves the aggrandizing agenda of this country.
For that matter don't get me started on "turkey day" as a day to get family together. The only thing worse than having to deal with other peoples families are having to deal with your own.
