November is going to be a pretty full month for concerts. I wonder why so many bands wait until the end of the year to book? Probably cheaper than doing it in the spring or summer. But anyway, here's what i have lined up:
November 3rd: Opeth w/Nevermore and Into Eternity
November 8th: Fear Factory, Soilwork, Strapping Young Lad, and Darkane.
November 28th: Arch Enemy w/a whole bunch of really crappy bands (All That Remains, Mnemic, A Perfect Murder)
I hope Soilwork is alotted enough time for a decent set. If it is only like 5 songs, i'm going to be a bit disappointed. I suppose as long as they do Follow The Hollow, As We Speak and Nerve i'll be glad i went (all of which seems likely); because while i'm sure i will enjoy the rest, i don't really care if i see them.
Unlike Soilwork (and Fear Factory for that matter), i've never seen Arch Enemy before. True, their 2005 album Doomsday Machine pretty well sucks, but there is little chance that they won't do Wages of Sin/Anthems of Rebellion era songs. Unfortunately i also expect an extremely high kiddie/ozzfest attendee factor, but eh, i can deal with that.
