Road trippin'
So today was road trip day. First we stopped to buy snacks (grapes,apples-we're very healthy-as well as crisps and chocolate-ok, not so healthy) Then we were on the road to Moffat. We started out ok. Until some guy in a bmw almost rammed the size of our car whilst driving on the WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD. Idiot. We had our revenge when we managed to overtake him by driving at 107mph-oh yes!
So we stopped at Moffat and went for a walk, bought some toffee, sweets etc. The man behind the counter gave me a plant pot (I kid you not) to put everything in. I didn't quite know what to say so I just took the plant pot and smiled. Then I fell asleep on the pile of pillows in the backseat whilst listening to Blur. Woke up in the IKEA car park (not sure if we stopped anywhere in between, I was asleep for quite a while!) where we went in for a browse. I found this cute cushion thing which I named "the furry sausage". When I asked the sales assistant if it was possible to purchase a furry sausage, she seemed somewhat confused. She looked even more confused when I tried to describe it so I left empty handed ;_; We bought some fish finger puppets though which mad up for my sausagelessness.
Drive home was fairly uneventful. We almost reversed over 3 kids (not on purpose) who then tried to throw stones at the car-until we threated to run them over for real-we wouldn't really, but it god rid of them.
Just got home a little while ago so I'm off to make some green tea and curl up in front of the television.....
