project cancelled, immense feeling of loss
block of ice + 1/60 has been cancelled.
i am so hurt. they chose to drop me rather than give me an option of doing something within their capabilities,
ie. i am told it is cancelled bc it goes beyond the capabilities of the staff.
i am given 50% of my payment, as per our contract. i wish we could use that to finish something, i dont want 'compensation' - the work is the point .
the work the work the work, full speed into a wall.
what does it mean that they discussed it with out me.
i do not know where my relationship to each of them is. i see each of their faces, and the places we went to with so much affection ,
and now to have that awful feeling of being 'discussed at a meeeting'....
i really really liked all those people and was so looking forward to giving back to them in january.
not to mention the synagogue invite, the queer community stuff....the photo project...and
friendships (....maybe not?)
