I figure I'd update this thing.
Tornados went through Trenton last Friday...and I freaked out when I heard. I couldn't get through to anyone in my family. they let me leave work early and I flew home. picked up mom, and headed for Trenton. everything was DESTROYED. I feel so bad for Kirbys(Muratoris). that family can't catch a break to save their lives. there were a lot of trees down, but everyone in my family was ok.
we lost power friday at around noon, and got it back finally Sunday night at 8:42 PM. it's amazing how a community pulls together when something like this happens.
I leave for Guam next Thursday(3rd). I have to be on base at 6 AM. we'll take off at 9 AM, and we're flying 8 hours to Hawaii to stay for the night. the next day, we'll leave for Guam...another 9 hour trip. I'll be there til the 5th, stopping in Hawaii again on the way back. I'll be home on the 6th(September), but it sounds like I'm leaving for the desert on the 8th.
I'll turn 21 in Guam. I guess not many people can say that.
I'd really like to see some of you before I leave. I'll be back around Thanksgiving if all goes according to plan. call me.
