Muy Frio

Back from Cuba. I miss it already. The people are so friendly. Talking to strangers is not seen as something that crazy people do. Even the people looking for money are not just looking for hand outs, they're trying to help you find your way, or do something for you for a few pesos. And the art, my god. I was not expecting so much great art. Sure, there was a lot of crap tourist stuff, but a lot of good art with thought and passion put into it. The government seems to view the arts as a very important part of their culture, and give artsists the opportunity to make their living that way. The experimental print-making workshop was a definite highlight. So many presses, and the artists working were great about showing us around.
What I'm really excited though is to see how the 11 rolls of film I took turned out now. Yes, I am officially a photo nerd. But it should be great for my project.
I was glad coming back to see the collegiate boy though. Yes, yes, I am a cradle robber. And he seems very surprised that all his teachers love me. I think he was showing me off to them in hopes that my awesomeness will rub off on him. Or that he will be awesome by association. Oh, how strange to be back there. I feel so old. And I now realize that even though we thought that we were cool enough to be wandering around the university posing as university students, the collegiate kids stick out like sore thumbs, so I'm sure we did too. So awkward and gangly. Oh wells. Now I am the cool university kid. Haha, victory is sweet.
And hopefully there should be a deviantart page set up in the next couple of days. Please harrass me if I do not post a link. That comment is mainly for the boy, but if anyone else is interested in my 'art'...harrass me, cause otherwise I'll be lazy and not do it.
