Went to Green Day last night, and say what you will about them, they put on an awesome show. My Chemical Romance was amazing, really the only opening band I've ever seen who's been able to get the crowd excited. I wish they had played for longer though, it seemed kind of a short set. Then Green Day was really good. They good a Winnipeg audience to do something other than just stand there blankly. They played a good amount of their older stuff too, all their popular stuff anyway. They played Motivation, so that's all I cared about. They were really just great entertainers.
HOwever, I wanted to hit the friend that came with my brother. He sat there the entire time, didn't do anything. I don't think the kid even cheered. It was sad. THough not as sad as the fact that he kept leaving to go find pot, but was too nervous to ask. After the show, he told us "There was a guy, who I'm pretty sure would have sold to me if I had gone and asked him." Well, good job Eric, that's as good as smoking that joint. So sad.
