Boredness

Aug 12, 2004 03:17

I'm sitting here at my desk, bored with nothing to do. I've decided that writing about this boredness, may very well cure me of it. It comes to me in the late hours after midnight and feeds upon my soul until I should find an activity to release boredness from my being. But I have not the courage to cast my boredness away forever, because in truth, it is my only companion in these hours. Sometimes though, I do find myself thinking on other sucjects, such as my beloved books or the ever-beautiful sight of the dark star-filled night sky.

In these hours of boredness, many ideas have come to me. Ideas and theories pertaining to our existance our need to believe in something. But these things do not come to me without cost, for I am doomed to mill over such things, unable to sleep for hours on end. Though, I cannot say it bothers me at all. For without my thoughts, I would be nothing more than a mindless drone, passing through life, knowledge never gained.

You know, I never thought that I could type my thoughts out like this, available for anyone to see. In a way, it is relieving, I am able to share myself with this text box and eventually to the viewers who read this entry. Well, I'm going to be up for quite a while after this entry, but I do feel like I should get off of LiveJournal and do something else.

Goodbye,

Trajet Trouvaille.
