To the friends and family of Agamemnon:
About two hours ago, the children organized a capture the flag game. Agamemnon was one of the children participating in the game. Shortly after the game started, he became violently ill. He showed many of the symptoms of being poisoned, fortunately I had the ambulance I use for work near by. I called the Poison Control Center and even though it is generally not recommended, given the severity of his situation, I needed to give active charcoal. I rushed him the hospital and took him to the ER room.
They did a check on him and ran some tests and fortunately most of the poison was purged from his system. What he was given was very toxic, without immediate response it would have been fatal. For the next week he should be monitored and he will likely have a sore throat and upset stomach. Right now I am keeping him in my apartment and watching over him. I will be here for the rest of the time if one of his family members would like to stop by and pick him up, I am sure when he would be much more comfortable around family.
