It seems a little selfish that i've been reading people's blogs and forming impressions on all these lives and moments that im largely not a part of. So in return, accept these, my humble offerings. Judge my wontoness, loathe my dyslexia and prac crit my english. blar blar blar.
I had a dream the other day. Not of footprints, so don't worry, read on if you will. It started off with me being checked into hospital (very reflective of my recent hospital stay), upon which i insisted that the nurses use the sheets that i've brought along with me. cos you know, you can never be comfortable enough in a hospital. Anyway, my sheets were white, like all the hospital sheets. When i was discharged a few days later, i packed all my stuff, only to discover that the nurses had returned me clean and pressed sheets, but these weren't mine. they had the hospital logo monogrammed on it. So i launched this huge hunt for my white sheets amidst this entire establishment's vast store of linens. the last thing i recalled before waking up was me standing on the bed, shouting to all scuttering around to "NOTE THE THREADCOUNT! NOTE THE THREADCOUNT PLEASE".
i don't for the life of me even know how threadcount is represented.
Also, last week, a couple of us decided to head on down to jb to look for alternative party venues. After driving around dark, meandering lanes, all we found were seedy looking joints with muffled chinese karaoke wafting out through doors with faux-gold handles. that's not to say all chinese karoke joints are seedy, but seriously, doesn't it just seem like a disproportionate number of them are. after roaming around some more, we finally stumbled upon what could possibly be their Mohd Sultan stretch. hm. it's really not much to rave about.
also. haze season is back. It's hard to be bochuppy about it since it literally creeps up on us ominously. i was standing along millenia walk the other day when by god, i realize everything was all purplish. even the bleaching flourescent lighting which suntec is such a fan of managed to look very gothic and fantastical. Now all this city needs is a superhero in spandex.
