I HATE MONDAYS!!!!
How to tell yer Monday is going to be shit.........I went to my first job this morning, a restoration job. Basically what happened was when the last batch of storms that came through a couple weeks ago, lightning struck a big tree in front of my client's lawn which sent a good bit of the tree through the second story. Well all the construction work was done and it was time for us to do some restoration work on some furniture and carpet. Well I did my work on the funiture and was prepared to work on the carpet. WELL....this is where the shit hit fan. I plugged in carpet cleaning equipment and got knocked back about 2 or 3 feet. OK, got shocked...BIG TIME! I glanced back at the outlet.....and it was on fire!!! Flaming quite good......I jerked the plug from the outlet.....got a lil jolt again.......and the outlet was sparking and still on fire. I got it put out......went in the attic and made sure it was not still on fire on. After being scared shitless and reeling from being shocked.......my day was just not really able to be recovered.
