Selena sat in her Canada hotel room. Demi Lovato's Bamboozle performance occupying her computer screen. She wanted more than anything to be there, supporting her best friend.
"So last year I wrote a song about a heart break that I went through but it's so funny how a year later you can totally fall in love again." Demi laughed as she addressed the crowd before breaking into the first verse of "Don't Forget". At the sound of Demi's laughter Selena felt a lightness in her chest. She watched Demi's performance, her heartbeat increasing as Demi did her classic "mic-dancing". She needed to see her. She needed her best friend, the girl she was undoubtedly in love with. Selena shut down her laptop and settled into bed. Taking a small amount of comfort in the thought that tomorrow would bring one less day without Demi.
