If this teaser is any indication, this album is going to be fabulous.
Delta Spirit hail from San Diego. Their debut album, Ode to Sunshine, was released in 2008, and features much foot-stamping blues and Americana-influenced rock. Their Take Away Show of "People Turn Around" and "Trashcan" are among my favorites. History from Below, their second LP, comes out June 8. Tour dates and tunes here.
Speaking of which, their tour mates are another catchy band, Ezra Furman & the Harpoons, and I think I'm in love. Holy harmonica!
