Yes, and No

Uh, hi again?

Apparently the HP6 movie comes out in July, so I started to get excited about it a bit today. This lead me to think about the following:
Harry Potter child actors when not in HP movies. Hit or miss?

Let's consider:

Daniel Radcliffe
Misses: Definitely December Boys, which featured D. Radcliffe doing a half-assed Aussie accent, which mostly involved him saying "fellas" a lot. In all honesty, maybe it was actually okay, but I only made it through about 30 minutes before boredom set in.
Hits: Uh....?
Question marks: Equus, which I didn't see but I know scarred icebellaseahawk for life. So.

Emma Watson
Has she been in anything else? IMDB tells me that there was a movie called Ballet Shoes, but yeah, I'm not going to watch that. So, it pretty much comes down to:
Hits: Being pretty.
Misses: Outfits like this.

Heather at Go Fug Yourself puts it pretty well: "it looks like a set of mischievous Weasley Twins fireworks went haywire and blew up a bird sanctuary." Like really, Emma, wtf?

Rupert Grint
Hits: The Harold and Maude movie, what was it called?, uh, Driving Lessons. Chock full of Cute. And bonus points for reuniting with Julie Walters. Haven't seen it and don't know when it comes out, but look at this one: Cherrybomb.

He looks fucking hot, which I totally wasn't expecting at all.
Misses: Can he miss? It remains to be seen. He won over my heart the moment I read that he wanted to be an ice cream truck driver when he grew up. YES.

Robert Pattinson
Hits: Edward Cullen panties, for visual proof, here or here. Also, as boxers!
Misses: Just about every photograph ever. And those are all from the first page of photos of him on IMDB, I wasn't even digging. But possibly the worst:

What was Entertainment Weekly thinking? It's like Rocky Horror gone bad, if that's even possible! The lipstick! The pallor! The eye make-up! I don't even know. And God, does this film about Dalí and García Lorca look awful or what?
Question Marks: This one looks like it could actually be okay, if it weren't for, you know, the appearance of bad acting. And I can totally sympathize with the quarter life crisis, so maybe I'll go see it.

The clear winner of this game is Rupert Grint. Well done, Rupert.
