[For a little while the journal just shows trees, autumn leaves… and not one but two new Feathers unconscious on the ground. After a while one stirs, wakes up, sits bolt upright.]

[She glances around, clearly confused, even glancing once down at her New Feather dress, until her eyes fall on the other figure.]

[Well, those are voices he hadn't heard in a while. He almost didn't even recognize Ginji's voice in particular, having only heard it once in a while back on Auldrant. So he's quiet for a moment, unbelieving, before he stands up looks down at the journal.]

Noelle? Ginji?

...Luke? Thank goodness. [The voice isn't too difficult to place, but he's having trouble locating its source. He compensates by talking a little louder and keeps looking around - slowly - hopefully Luke can at least hear him.]

Are the others with you? I thought I heard gunshots coming from further in, and...

[Noelle, for her part, recognizes the voice immediately, and is already looking around, trying to pin the source. Ginji's already pretty much addressed her own most important concerns.]

Yes, we're here. Are you all right?

Gunshots?

[That suddenly makes Luke very concerned about their safety. It might've been from back in Auldrant, but... he knows there are people who use guns here, too. So, he frowns as he leans in.]

I'm okay, but... What about you two? Do you still hear gunshots?

No, we haven't heard them since we got here.

[She's still looking around, and finally spots a journal lying a few feet away. Wait, was this where Luke's voice was coming from? Leaving Ginji for a few moments, she picks it up and brings it back, eying it quizzically, holding it so Ginji can take a look too if he wants.]

She's right. We haven't heard anything else.

[His voice trails off as he watches his sister walk off a little ways and return with the journal. As Ginji takes a closer look, he notices what looks like buttons and input fields on the open pages. And there's Luke inside one of the frames.]

I'm not really sure what happened... [He wants to ask again about the others and whether they're all okay, but he manages to stop himself.]
