Whew. That's the hardest run I've done in a long, long time.
I started at Barton Springs and ran over to the Zoot neighborhood for some hills. Then up Pecos to the dry cleaners for a drink out of the hose. Back via Scenic where I stopped to give ms_zin a hug. Water out of the sink at Walsh Boat Landing. Across on Enfield back to the O. Henry neighborhood again. No question, the highlight was when I turned a corner and practically bumped into Mac, who gave me such a sweet encouraging little pep talk. *sigh* I just love Mac. Back to Town Lake for water, Powerade and a CarbBoom. Over to the Bouldin neighborhood for Marsh's hills. Back to Barton Springs for a total of 2:46:41.
Now, if I can pry my butt from the chair, I will shower and go see my favorite superhero. I guess I will take my stuff, because by then it will be time for my 30 minute p.m. run and post-run 20 minute swim. oy!
