North by Northwest

I think the last time I saw North by Northwest was when I was (maybe) 13. So it's been awhile.
The film that I remembered was not the film I saw tonight. Since I was 13, sheltered, and Catholic, I got none of the innuendoes between Eva Marie Saint and Cary Grant, which actually make up most of the dialogue.
I also didn't remember that the famous crop duster scene is set in Indiana.

I'd like to say that Indiana does not look anything like that. The soil is shit, the fields look dead, and the cornstalks look pallid. I mean, seriously, what the hell--this isn't Oklahoma here.

Indiana has great soil, the fields look healthy, and our cornstalks kick anyone else's asses.

If Hitchcock is going to try to depict Indiana as a wasteland full of people hauling refrigerators in the back of their trucks, at least don't trash our soil. That's just plain offensive.
