Okay so I ran my first mission today. WOW!!!! Well to those who have asked in emails and to those who want to know. We are based at Qasim, Pakistan. We then fly to Chaklala, which is on the southside of Islamabad. We pickup our first load and get gas. Our load was tents, and blankets. We flew into the mountains. I don't know which ones, but we think the Himilayas. I should look it up but i don't have the time if someone could it's the mountains there north of islamabad. Post it here. We dropped it off and picked up 30 refugees, and the people are so awesome. The kids were trying to fly using the rotor wash. It was so gratifying to help them. I really didn't see much devestation all day unless i looked on the mountainside itself. Plus from 4,000 feet a rooftop looks the same no matter if it's a house underneath it or just sticks. I saw a couple of huge landslides. We did three drops today of the same stuff, and we were greeted with such respect every time. I guess we might go further north sometime. We just don't know when. The epicenter was in Muzarabah or something like that. And we were just south of that a lil ways. We should fly to it at some point. It's warm on the ground during the day, and it gets cold at night. They say the coldest down here is 37 degrees. But at 8,000 and higher there is already some snow in spots. These people have terraced the whole mountain too. They live all the way from the bottom to the top and it is just insane looking. I took a few pics but i don't know how well they will come out. Words just can't explain what i have seen today. Anyway. I'm safe, and if y'all have any questions just ask, and i'll try to answer. I have another mission going out tomorrow again. I hope it goes just as well.
