earth. the girl of his fancy

he only reveals one side
not showing all...everthing he can be and is
she has to really work...
reach out with the means she has
make such an effort to se more
hes back, his neck, his vulnerablity
scars from blows that may have become hers
protection, the only way he knows how

Though his dark side is not always dare
we just don't see it

The moon is obsessed with the earth
that which is drasticly different from him
but that which he admires and enjoys
nurturing, filled with life

desolate, lonely

So distant from each other
but inevitably
his every movement, his every rock, his every speck of dust
effects her in arguably subtle ways
her seas, her murder rate

The moon is in love with the earth
does she even notice?
