my day in court
so tonight was my court date. supposed to be there at 7pm.
showed up early, no one was there-thought i went to the wrong place.
tried a few other places i thought it might be, nope.
went back to the first place and saw that others were waiting in the parking lot for the place to open.
so i waited.
and waited.
at 7:30 a state trooper car showed up.
two officers sat in it for 5 or so minutes, then made a celly call.
after that they got out of the car.
one walked up to me and asked if i was there for court.
i told him that i was.
he told me that they had just spoken to "the court people" and court had been cancelled for the evening.
they hadn't informed those police men either.
so i was free to go home.
i don't know if they will call me or send me a letter wanting me to go back, but so far, that's pretty f'n rad!!!
