Odd day
Today was rather interesting. I finally made friends with the dog that's been hanging around the house the past few weeks. He is such a sweetie! Follows me around, plays frisbee, and even gives hugs. It took him several tries to enter the house. First he stuck his head in several times, then he put his foot in once or twice, then two feet, and finally he went past the door. He doesn't bug the cat, who seems to think she owns the place. The only problem is that he has fleas and has not been neutered.
Since the Akron Beacon Journal and the Record Courier published articles about the reward money for information leading to an arrest or prosecution in my father's murder, we have been getting calls and even visits from television and radio stations. This reporter from channel 3 stopped by to introduce himself and to ask if my mother would allow the station to do a follow up story on my father and to mention the reward money. Channel 19 also called to basically do the same thing. So things are definately getting stirred up again, not that they really ever settled down to begin with. As long as these reporters are respectful and do a good job with the story, there really is no problem.
