bah humbug!
So the roomie is asleep...so I've been forced out of sheer boredom to write in the damn journal.
Interesting things that have happened since my last entry:
1) Took dog to training session - he's turning into one lean mean (and oh so cute) attack machine!
2) Found out that the psycho lady whose barn I used to keep my horses (maybe 6 years ago?) has been hit by a car. Half of me is wanting to jump up and down singing at the top o' my lungs "Ding, Dong, the witch is dead!" (really just incapacitated for a while) and the other half of me is like that's so horrible, especially since the horse she was leading off the road (it had run away from her) was killed by the car.
3) The current barn owner has gone crazy, adding a brand spanking new 20 stall barn to her property (the old barn has 33), mainly so her daughter will have a job. The indoor arena - the only place to ride in the winter - has been out of commissiom since last Tuesday. Not too sure when it will be good to go again. Probably there will be way too much sand for much work to be done. My horses don't get enough hay, and when I request more the woman goes on a rampage. Oh yeah, and she thinks we should all be happy for her good fortune? I should think not...
4) Due to my current lack of riding in the past week or so I have started running. Must say I'm rather impressed that I can do a mile decently. Only complaint is that running in laps is very boring.
5) Losing whatever sanity I had retained from the past few years...
