how could I have been so misinformed?

So like all of my life I have been led to believe that actress Susan Olsen (aka Cindy Brady of the Brady Bunch) committed suicide in the late 80s after a long, treacherous downward spiral of {stage} sibling rivalry and drug abuse, only to just now be made aware that she is in fact not only alive and well but appearing for interview in the 2005 short documentary The Brady Bunch: Coming Together Under One Roof! Again, I ask, how could I have been so misinformed? This vicious rumor can only have stemmed from her failure to appear in 1988's blockbuster reunion special A Very Brady Christmas, where her vindictive co-stars vented thier jealousy to an open-armed media primed for further scandal after dad Mike Brady's secret gay life was ousted in a sea of southern-California style controversey and contradiction. Well, where's the controversey now Cindy Brady? How do you think America feels knowing that during 1988's reunion, instead of a suffering a writhing death in a pool of your own urine and cocaine-induced nosebleed you were actually on a skiing vacation with your newlywed husband? Bollocks, is what that is. (excuse the Britishism, but they are the only english-speakers who come up with appropriate terms for situations like these).

On the flipside, it is nice to see on the Brady Bunch's hottest fansite (www.bradyworld.com) that Marsha's bio page consists of a long list of links to fansites detailing her every career move while Jan's bio is 4 sentences long.
