The Confirmation     HD720p 20MB
Comedic family drama in which a down-on-his luck carpenter (Clive Owen) is tasked with entertaining his eight-year-old son (Jaeden Lieberher known from St. Vincent) while his mom (Maria Bello) and her new husband are away. But when his prized toolbox is stolen, a quiet father-and-son weekend turns into an adventure of a lifetime. Aided by an oddball drywall repairman (Patton Oswalt), the two go on a wildly funny search for the thieves-and find something they never imagined: a true family connection. Matthew Modine, Robert Forster and Tim Blake Nelson. Written and directed by Bob Nelson (writer of Nebraska).
The review quotes in the trailer that aren't attributed to anyone in particular and are probably entirely made it up are a bit unfortunate. But the trailer itself looks nice.

The Secret Life of Pets     HD720p 57MB
Full trailer for this animated movie produced by the humans behind Despicable Me. It is taking place in a Manhattan apartment building, Max's (Louis C.K.) life as a favorite pet is turned upside down, when his owner brings home a sloppy mongrel named Duke (Eric Stonestreet). They have to put their quarrels behind when they find out that an adorable white bunny named Snowball (Kevin Hart) is building an army of abandoned pets determined to take revenge on all happy-owned pets and their owners. It will also feature the voices of Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Jenny Slate, Bobby Moynihan, Steve Coogan, Dana Carvey and Albert Brooks. Co-directed by Chris Renaud (Despicable Me, The Lorax).
Also, a short trailer that focuses on Kevin Hart's Snowball character: HD720p 20MB.

4th Man Out     HD720p 12MB
Indie comedic drama. Adam is your average working-class guy living in small-town America. He's an auto mechanic who spends his free time with his tight-knit band of bros with whom he does everything - poker, video games, shooting hoops, getting drunk and meeting women. But there is something about Adam that even his friends don't know. He is not that interested in women. When he comes out, sort of by accident but not really, his best friend Chris promises him that nothing will change but, of course, some things do.
Looks amusing. Limited release in the US starting this weekend.

Green Room     HD720p 46MB
Redband trailer for this horror-thriller with some dark humour. When an unsigned punk band (Anton Yelchin, Alia Shawkat, Joe Cole) book an impromtu gig at seedy dive bar frequented by neo-Nazis, they are expecting a tough night. But when they accidentally become witness to a murder, the band find themselves trapped in the venue's green room, hunted down by a gang of thuggish mercenaries (fronted by Patrick Stewart) determined to ensure they keep their mouths shut. Imogen Poots and Mark Webber are also part of the cast. Directed by Jeremy Saulnier (Blue Ruin).
Not my preferred genre. But it was well received by genre fans at festivals, and Patrick Stewart playing the bad guy also has some appeal.

Forsaken     HD720p 16MB
Old-fashioned western in which, after years of wandering and making a name for himself as a formidable quick-draw gunfighter, a Civil War veteran (Kiefer Sutherland) quietly returns to his hometown. Weary of his years of violence, he's determined to lay down his guns for good. His father, the Reverend William Clayton (Donald Sutherland), resolutely condemns his son's past and is skeptical of his pledge to reform. As father and son bear witness to a murderous gang's appropriation of local properties - including that of his long-lost love (Demi Moore) - he is faced with an onerous existential dilemma. Is it better to turn the other cheek or to use his deadly talents to dispose of the villains - led by a powerful landlord and saloon keeper (Brian Cox)? Michael Wincott is also part of the cast. Directed by Jon Cassar ("24").
More TV than cinematic, but the actors may make it worthwhile.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them     HD720p 126MB
Three minute Behind the Scenes featurette for the upcoming adaptation of the book from J.K. Rowling. It is the kind of self-congratulatory puff piece that tends to be hard to stomach. But it revels a bit more about the sets and characters.
