Eat Pray Love looks inspiring. Who Do You Love looks fantastic. I'm strangely excited for Shrek 4. XD;

Please Give might be a "maybe I'll download it or something if I have the time and am bored" kind of movie.

Eat Pray Love looks better than I expected. I think there's still the risk that its message will be a little too blunt but a promising support cast should help.

I'll probably watch Please Give too once I get the chance. But I already can feel that I will regret the decison. ;)

I'd say, ask Bo. But it's probably too late for that. ;P

I don't even know what to do about Eat Pray Love. It's one of my favorite books, and I happen to be rereading it right now. The movie looks promising and I may have to watch it! I ultimately wasn't able to watch the movie for Time Traveler's Wife, but I think this looks exciting! Thank you especially for posting this one, I'm borderline giddy about this!

I couldn't figure out who the guy was in Who Do You Love, but he's the guy from Coco Avant Chanel!

I've enjoyed some of the other Catherine Keener movies, though they are a bit different. And I love Rebecca Hall somewhat excessively. But this movie doesn't really pique my interest, sadly. Maybe if the reviews are unexpected?

Shrek 4...hrm. I didn't watch Shrek 3, but I'll have to wait for reviews before deciding!

Oh, interesting coincidence! That's always a difficult situation, the film adaptation of a beloved book. But it seems that you're so far pleased with what you're seeing.
That re-reading probably also explains the end of this entry. :)

That's Alessandro Nivola. Maybe you also know him from Junebug. At least you should. :)

Keener seems to deliberately choose to be in many different movies. Which is very admirable. But it also means she's in a few duds. But I would never hold that against her.
The cast is certainly the most interesting part of this movie. Though I probably will want to slap all the characters and ask if they don't have any "real" problems. ;)

I tend to think Shrek is past its expiry date.

Haha!--I think that is probably a good explanation for my recent wanderlust. I spent a few hours yesterday investigating international travel with cats. Maybe moving to Paris isn't going to be a reality until I can afford my own airplane. (So, never :)

Every time I read that book, I curse my mortgage. It makes me feel so...tethered!

And.....just added Junebug to my Netflix. You haven't led me astray yet :)

I also now absolutely have to see Inglorious Basterds to watch the explanation for this scene. *coo*

About Please Give --exactly! Rebecca Hall needs to be in something I really want to watch. Now.

I agree with you about Shrek. I'm glad they're at least conceding that this should be the last one!

Owning a cat can have its downside. :)
I'm not sure if we want to start a discussion about the American obsession to own a house (or apartment). Maybe we leave that for an email conversation. :)

Given your fondness for Amy Adams I would've thought you've already seen it since it was her breakthough role. Though in this case I like to ogle Embeth Davidtz. It's a nice little movie. Though with maybe a little too much drama.

Well, then you'd also understand my recently used icon. :D Though that is basically the scene. There's not much more. Though much of the set-up gets lost in that snippet.
Though Lt. Hicox is delighted that you'd like to watch the movie. :)

Rebecca Hall also needs to get better roles (or alternatively has to be in better movies). I remember being annoyed when finding out that her role in Starter for 10 is relatively small and sadly Alice Eve is more prominently featured. :)
