The Last Ride trailer makes me a little home-sick.

Tom Russell looks like another Kodi Smit-McPhee. What is it with Australians and father-son dramas these last couple of years?

Understandably so. :)

I've no idea why dads in Australia sometimes cause so much drama. ;)

When his father (Hugo Weaving) bundles him into the cat in the middle of the night

Looks lovely, though.

Thanks! The downside when websites force you ro re-type summaries and don't enable copy-paste. :)

*regrets not having uploaded one of your The Proposition icon. Uses similar coloured one*

*glees* I love that icon. Where the Wild Things Are is still one of my favourite books.

I haven't read it but I've heard it's a quick read. Not sure if the movie itself will be one for me, but I've watched the wonderful first trailer many, many times. :)

Creation: It's kind of got a "The Piano" vibe to it, even though I know the stories are completely different. It looks good.

Love Happens: Not seeing the chemistry between them. :( I do like that Judy Greer is in it.

Fame: I'm super excited for this one. Though I think I'm more into the fact that Bebe Neuwirth is in the film than anything else. :)

Creation: I was wondering for a while now what the trailer reminded me of. I think you gave me the answer. :)

Love Happens: I wasn't even thinking in terms of "chemistry", more like who suffers more from the events of the past. ;)

Fame: I think I mentioned before that I was very sceptical because it's a remake and such. But judging from the trailer I have to admit that it looks quite good for that kind of movie. Much better than earlier movies with similar themes.

Creation looks interesting. I also usually tend to like real life husband and wives playing the same onscreen. Usually.

I can't get over how Jennifer Aniston never changes for any role she does. EVER. Glad to see Martin Sheen back in a film, though. And it's a shame Judy Greer is still playing the best friend of the lead.

I've never thought if the fact of a real life couple acting in the same movie influences whether or not I like a movie. It probably depends on if I like the two separately. In this case the chances are fairly good. :)

There's been a small movie a few years ago called The Good Girl where I think reviews often mentioned that Aniston played a different role. But so far I never had the chance to see it so I don't know how different it actually was.

I can actually only think of like Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. I guess it's not always the case, though.

I actually own and like The Good Girl, but it's still very obviously her. Her hairstyle never changes, nor does anything about her really. Even that movie where she was a bad girl/con artist, I couldn't see past her. She's like the female Tom Cruise. Or Julia Roberts. Heh.

I suspect it will be a major news event if she ever opts for a shorter hair-style. ;)

Great facial expression by Jason Bateman!

On Love Happens: It's hard to comment because I can't stop shrieking SEATTLE! SEATTLE! SEATTLE!! :)

Agree though--I hate trailers that are mini versions of the movie. They could have cut half that information. I think I may have to go see it, if only to shriek (inwardly, of course) every time I recognize where they are :)

Fame: I love Fame. I can't help it. I am so excited to see it and I hope it is totally earnestly dorky!

Last Ride: That looks pretty amazing. I adore Hugo Weaving and hope we'll get a chance to see this one out here!

Thank you for the trailers!! :D

Love Happens: I know! :D I hope they didn't cheat and actually filmed most of it in Canada.

Fame: I first rolled my eyes when I heard about the remake and after the first teaser, but it looks better than I thought. So if you're a fan I think you'll enjoy it. :)

Last Ride: Weaving really has a much broader range than what he's usually allowed to show in the bigger budget movies he's been in. I also hope I'll be able to catch this one one day one way or the other.

You're welcome!
You seem to be very bouncy today. It's infectious. :D

Oooo, good point about Canada!

I totally agree about Weaving, he's got some great depth and breadth to his talents!

I am very bouncy today! :D

It's a good thing to infect others with! :D

Imdb, under filming locations, lists Seattle and Vancouver. Seems like they are at least partially cheating. Booo!

It is a good thing! :D
Good luck with your cooking today. :)
