Ooh, Brideshead Revisited could turn out to be decent. I feel like it's been ages since I've seen Emma Thompson in anything. It's far too long, anyway.

Thanks!

You are probably more familiar than I am with their work but the two guys responsible for the screenplay (Jeremy Brock and even more so Andrew Davies) have a lot of experience with adapting material like this so it should indeed be good.

And I most certainly agree. The last time I saw her was just a short appearance. And it was big surprise to see her right at the very beginning of "I Am Legend".

Babylon AD was looking good till I realized it starred Vin Diesel -_-

And YES, the scene after the credits of Iron Man is awesome! :D

But dark sci-fi movies are often interesting. Even with Vin Diesel. ;)

I don't like crowded theatres so I'll be waiting another week or two. But I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. :)

Dammit, the one time I forget to wait! Don't suppose anyone will tell me what happened in the extra scene?

I haven't seen it so I can't tell you. And to be honest I hope nobody will spoil me here in the comments. But I'm sure if you ask him nicely he'll describe the scene for you. :)

Just a public service announcement, loopychew thankfully informed me that if you're planning to see Iron Man, it's a good idea to stay until after the credits.

Thank you for letting us know! It is not the first time you rescue us with your informativeness.

Thank you, that's very nice of you to say. Though in this case it was mainly due to the kindness of another reader. :)

Finding Amanda is supposed to be a green-band trailer, but did I really hear "Fucker!" at 1:54?

I'd say you're right. Somebody should sue the MPAA for this oversight. ;)

What I always find strange is how you can advertise an R rated movie with a trailer that's "approved for all audiences". Like in this case where, even without the swear word, it's still about all kinds of addiction problems, hookers and gambling.
