Branding Week 1

Dec 16, 2008 18:46

Getting the branding REALLY sucked. Done via sautering iron, by Dan of Eternal Body Art.
Scrubbing with toothbrush done in the shower, no other forms of irritants.
Plan to go back later, probably when these are healing better, for further work.

Placing images under a cut, so that you don't have to see it if you don't want to.

Ouch, what's the grand finale supposed to be like? Unless that's a surprise. You're probably also now wondering; "Who the fuck are you?" and I'd have to reply with Chris or Slay on LJ, he mentioned knowing someone else from hawaii in some random conversation, so I found ya from his list--since I'm in hawaii myself.

Originally I had wanted the design to follow one of the symbols found on an ancient Sith holocron. If I had done it, I'd probably have passed out because of the pain/shock, lol. Now they're healing (I've completely stopped taking daily photos, fuck) and have formed some nice scar tissue. I'm ready to go back for more branding, but I just need to think about the design, then try to incorporate it with other work I'm planning on my legs.

Heh, Chris. Funny how he ~brings the world together~ What part are you from?

So what is it supposed to mean then, the original meaning? Will you continue with this meaning or turn it into something else? -as I'm reading on- oh I see, so what's this other work on your legs?

Yeah, I know. I'm on the island of Oahu, and yourself?

The original meaning represents passion, strength, power, victory, and freedom. :) I'm not sure yet if I'm going to continue with that, because the design is quite large, which is a ton of pain that I'll have to go through. Of course, if I really want it, then the pain will be worth it. I have a lot of time, I just need to put more thought into it. As far as my other work, I'm looking into putting a Taoist hexagram tattoo on the side of my thigh, perhaps other designs. I won't be doing the tattoos until later, probably another year or so.

Same, I live in Pearl City.

FREEDOM! FOREVER! Worth getting in my opinion. Do you have a picture you'd not mind sharing/showing me to see what the final piece is supposed to be about? Man up pussy, do it! Haha. Nah, I have no idea how that stuff feels, so I dunno. So what's this taoist hexagram represent?

Pearlcity, so you're practically down the road from me, I'm in Mililani.

Original design. It hurt like a bitch, yet right now I'm missing the pain now that I'm nearly completely healed up. But the more I think about it, the rays of the sun design won't go well with the hexagram. There are 64 different ones, I just have to narrow it down between about 8 that I've been considering.

I see you have a lot of work done yourself! Where do you get your work done?

That is freakishly amazing. Town Center?

It doesn't seem like that much more! Or maybe you just say that because of the paaaaaaaaain, or however long the process takes. Human cattle. Oh, wow, crap, when I clicked on that link, I was thinking "does she mean the whole fucking thing? a big brick of slightly different line?" bad habit of not reading things out fully before the fact. Doesn't seem to be bad of a job at all ( ... )

Ah, well we'll see. Yeah, it's kind of a standing joke with my friends that I'm a cow, because of my branding and large septum, haha. Nah, just one of them haha. I wanted blackwork on one of my legs, so I might actually eventually incorporate the hexagrams into future blackwork. I'm just trying to pace myself and take it slow, so that I don't end up regretting the shit I get later on. Til now I've only had piercings and other temporary body/hair modifications, but now that I'm starting to do permanent modifications, I really need to exert more judgment and thought before getting them.

Ah, I love coverup tattoos :) Right on, it's good you've found an artist! I'm still trying to find a good tattoo artist, the guy I go to is okay but not the quality I'm after. I've actually heard good things about Doug.

I'm gonna add you, hope ya don't mind.

Welp, it's not hard to see or say so with branding and a septum, moooooo. That's the best thing you could do, take your time because yeah, this stuff is pretty much forever. Even though they have technology to remove tattoo's, not sure about fixing up scarification, but who the fuck wants to waste money on that? Not to mention being a regretful pussy who only goes half way, buuuuut, shit sometimes happens I suppose. You have the right train of thought though, good ( ... )

Exactly, I'm like "Wow I'm such a pussy I didn't get the whole thing" And yet I'm glad I didn't! Fuck lasering off tattoos, coverups is where it's at :)

Yeah good luck with that, I'm sure that it'll all look good and harmonized in time. Yes, I've heard of him! I think one of my coworkers or someone older that I've spoken to had gone there and the name just stuck with me. Seeing your sleeve, his work is impressive :) Yeah, I'm after someone who does good blackwork. It seems simple enough but I've seen a lot of patchy blackwork which just blows.

YOU KNOW WHAT? I DONT WANT YOUR FUCKN PITY ADD. Yeah no worries I'm quite a dick myself.

Haha, well burning off your skin tissue must hurt like a mofo, so understandable, along with your possible switch up of idea's, but for now, you just got two circles where you can claim a mob boss (or your abusive dad, I do not question the reasoning behind this) peeled out cigars on ya. Well, I don't think all tats can be covered up, like, say, trying to cover up my sleeve for example, haha. God damn, imagine that laser removal process, fucking crazy if even doable ( ... )

Yeah, I screamed the whole time. Bahaha. Everyone's like "How's yer cigar burns?" So again, it's another standing joke between my friends and I. I don't believe that a tattoo such as your sleeve is removable. Moreso for the smaller tattoos, or simpler ones, like text.

I particularly dig the upper part of your sleeve. Yeah, I'll have to look into different artists, see their portfolios, etc. I got PLENTY of time though, I don't feel the need to get the tattoos to feel complete or anything, haha. Ughhh I hate it when black tattoos fade. Sometimes you can't help it, because it is under so many layers of skin, and your skin acts as a screen. So I'm hoping I don't run into problems.

YEAH OK SUCK MY LEFT CLIT.

NO WHINING, I think is a sign within the red slashed circle thingy in the tat shop I more or so used to frequent on the monthly. Yeah, they'd have to remove all my skin practically, burn it all out ( ... )

Haha bawww.

I like the colors, yo! And the female's face is beautiful. Honestly if I die tomorrow, I can't say that I'd have my panties in a twist because I didn't go out and get all inked up. As much as I love tattoos there are other things I'm more enthusiastic to have done. Ah, can you get the kanji redone?

WELL NOW YOURE JUST BEING A DIFFICULT LITTLE BITCH, MY LEFT ANUS IS RAW AND BLOODY FROM LAST TIME :(

I got it from a comic book character called "Dawn" one day when I was randomly browsing through art...and it just came out at me, and that was it. Yeah, I guess I'd have to agree with you...makes me wish I had a freaky ghoulish maniac of a friend who'd want to save my inked skin after I die as art, man that'd be wicked cool. What would you have to have done? I suppose the only things supposedly worth doing is things you'll be remembered by, otherwise it's supposedly useless and you'll just be forgotten amongst the million others, boo-hoo. I doubt I can have it redone over the same spot, but what I meant by redone is, if I end up covering it up in the future in a sleeve theme, I'll end up incorporating that same symbol else where in that same theme but of course make it look way cooler.

MEAT GRINDER TOMMY.

Ah it's really beautiful. LOL Yeah, just have a skin harvester, to skin you and put your tattoos up in a frame. I was talking moreso about body modifications in relation to the tattoos, but yeah...theres a lot of stuff that could be done in the world before a person dies. Tons of spiritual things, having a higher existence, progress in meditation, possible suspensions, etc. I'm not sure if I'll ever do something that I'll be remembered by. I know that some people across the world admire my hair works, but I'd rather be remembered for something better, haha.
