Sunday morning
Well, Yesterday was quite the day. Up at 4am, and rolling for Manchester airport by 4:30 am. B dropped me off around 6am, and headed home. I boarded at 6:40am and by 7:05 we had all our passangers onboard, so we left, 5 minutes early. Landed in Philly almost a whole half hour ahead. Knight was there waiting for me and we headed back to deal with the truck. It was about 2/3 loaded when I got there. We had a few pieces of furnature, but a lot of boxes and totes. The truck and the van were loaded to the max. Our plans of being on the road were a little bit off. We rolled around 4, and finally stopped for dinner around 8. I parked the truck out front around 1 this morning. Red and Knight will be down shortly (truck is parked across the street) We will be re-organizing the attic a bit and moving most of their boxes up there for the week until their apartment is ready. The furnature will be put in the van, and hauled to a storage that Red's folks have up in Wells. Hopefully, between this we can empty the truck so it can be returned in the morning.
K visited for the weekend with her husband. I really didn't get a chance to visit much at all. They arrived late on friday, having taken a "shortcut" from Kentucky to Maine via upstate (And I mean REALLY upstate) NY. She and I took a quick ride on the bike down to Seapoint beach after they got here, and got caught in a downpour. Got to hang with them a bit this morning before they headed back. B wants to go down in a couple weeks, between terms and take Princess along, so I would have the house to myself for a few days. The plan thus far is for K to travel back up here by bus, and ride down with B and Princess, Then come back with them and bus home again. A lot of travel for just a few short days.
