lol, I'm reading Lear and taking Psych too. My experience with psych isn't as peachy as yours, unfortunately. My teacher is the main reason it sucks so far.
well, she's such a push-over and I doubt she knows more about psych than any of the students. She always loses our papers, she takes ages to grade our essays, and she's absent with food poisoning or a foot infection or something or another about everyother day. We all suspect she's going to get canned very soon. So yea.
She hilarious to listen to though. The other day she was like "how do you spell 'slob'?" And when she's writing on the board she's always sounding out the words to spell them. Oh yea and she burps while she talks. She like holds her chest in the middle of a lecture and silently says "hold on" and we sit there for a whole minute waiting for her to catch her breath.
Lmao, that would just keep me amused. Maybe you could study her for your research?
Lear is a complete bitch. You know what's worse? 1. I have it the same day as ICT (this is AS level) 2. Its closed book. CLOSED BOOK! We actually have to have a clue about what the dudes blabbering on about!
Our test is closed book. The quizzes are semi-open book. Part of it we have to paraphrase the sections into modern english, every line, even the poetry parts. The other part, that is open book, you have to write down all character reversals and plot action and such. I hate it with a passion.
What we do is that we go through the book line by line, and highlight good quotes, and write in anything we don't understand, or comments like "Speech - Superficial, grandiloquent" shit like that. Then we have handouts from critics that we can put in if we feel, they're mostly for essays when we have to do them. I have a book that i made for each scene, that i write what happened and important quotes so its easier to learn for the closed book exam. I hope it'll help.
ICT is computers. (Information Computer Technology). We do projects like design databases, websites and crap like that. We're doing our own database at the moment. But for the exam we have to know technical shit like how the computer boots up, output/input devices, check digits, how computers verify stuff, data flow diagrams, crap like that.
So basically, what I was complaining about is that I have to learn this technical gargun, and have King Lear quotes/plots/critics in my head all in the same day.
