at last, my arm is complete again!
I just resharpened my nails again after having them short for like six weeks. feels good to have my claws back. now I just need to put them to bad use...
on an unrelated note, this weekend I went to goth prom and a production of titus andronicus my cousin was putting on.
goth prom was meh because prom is never fun when you go stag, and it was on friday the 13th, so weird shit was happening and I went home relatively early, which would be 3:30 am for those keeping track of what is "early" for me these days. the up shot was that I didn't drink all night so at least I know I can still go out and have fun without booze. I still won't admit that booze ain't food though.
titus andronicus is probably my favorite shakespear play every and is a true tragedy. I mean an "everybody dies, no one wins, fuck you!" tragedy. I love the shit out of it, and this cast rocked my socks off my ass when I saw them thursday night. so much so I went again friday night... and instead of watching the show I spent the night studying so I could be their stand in assistant stage manager saturday night because there proper ASM couldn't be there for the last show and her stand in bailed last minute. I even stayed and helped strike set which I haven't done in years. I apparently did an awesome job because as bad ass a job as all of these people did and all the time and hard work these people put in, they spent all night thanking me for helping them. it felt really good and I really just want to thank them for allowing me to be a part of it. I hope to work with them more in the future, but I'll have to see what's what first.
