so, friday was the VHSL district theatre festival. it's a one-act play competition. top two go to regionals; top two from regionals go to states.

we came in 7th out of 8.

okay, so we didn't come in last, and that's good. at least we beat someone. but i felt really bad for my kids - we were the only school not to get recognized for anything.

well let me tell you what: you're the best damn director that i've never had. which says a lot, because that list includes steven spielberg and tim burton.
