student teaching is bizarre. hahah. not really used to being called "ms. berting".
a student introduced himself to me the other day because he hadn't met me yet. here was my response: "oh, it's nice to meet you. i'm andrea. berting. andrea berting. um, ms. berting. aaaughh."
i really, really, really hate waking up at 6am every morning, though. like, i really really REALLY hate it. how did i do this all during high school? this is terrible. tonight is the first night that i don't feel like i'm going to die from tiredness after 8pm, though, hahah. guess that's good.
there's a job opening down here at a different high school for next year. i don't really want to end up stuck teaching at a public school for the rest of my life... i'm way more interested in teaching in a professional theatre setting. or maybe just directing, hahah. but yeah. i'm going to apply for that teaching gig just for the option, i guess. and the steady paycheck, hahah.
