Back from my honeymoon!
A whole write up and perhaps a website will be up sometime this week. Anyway here are some highlights in the order they are remembered:
1. Tons of fun was had.
2. Learned how to make whisky or whiskey
3. Kept the good lads at Guinness Brewery employed for a while. (BTW, did you know Ireland consumes 1/3 of ALL the pints of Guinness created? 1/3 OF THE WORLDS SUPPLY OF GUINNESS NEVER LEAVES IRELAND, except by way of the urinals that is)
4. Decided Scotland is the best place on earth.
5. To make a certain someone cough*karlean7*cough I went on a tour of Scotland with Hugh Jackman's first music teacher... In case you were wondering, his first solo was the musical Camalot when he was 7 and a half. They still have the original recording of it.
6. Scotland has more sheep than you can shake a stick at.
7. Ireland was a HUGE disapointment.
8. The airport bar in Edinburgh, Scotland airport was open at 10 AM (our flight time) and was packed to the brim with Scots making sure in the event of a crash, their blood would be combustible. Even I was astounded. (and if you've been drinking with me, you know what kind of statement that is; which ties into #4 BTW)
