Charlotte's operation went as well as it could have, and now she's resting. Thanks everyone :) the tumour they found was much bigger than they expected, and they didn't even keep it! Pfft, public health care. It's so weird seeing her with all tubes everywhere, but me and my other sister managed to make her laugh until it hurt. All the years spent watching House have made me into a medical expert and I recognised the heart monitor, blood pressure, all the lines on the screen, as well as the defibrillator (so badly wanted to use it on a wet person and electrocute myself) and IV. I love hospitals.
Rather guiltily I had the best night ever last night in Newcastle. I'd started to feel really detached from London and I thought it was a side-effect of too much T S Eliot but I realised it's actually because I missed the good old days, with Nicola and Sarah in the local indie clubs. Only now we have a new member in Paddy, and I think he loves it as much as I do. They played Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds ♥
In other news, I changed my hair and I no longer look like Garth. I can't decide if this is a good or bad thing? I also had my first manicure! Oh I am so lovely.
